Thanks for sharing this, I lost my book many years ago and still haven't got round to replacing it yet :)
Thanks Louise, great flapjacks. Exactly the same as a bero book I had years ago but lost. Your the best :)
Thank you SO much for this recipe! It reminds me and my partner of school dinner flapjacks I had in the early 90s. Lucie x
Can you make these flapjack without sugar perhaps using honey or a banana to sweeten for a diabetic?
I have been making this recipe for at least 40 years. Everyone thinks I am a magician because its magical.
Hi, what edition was this from? Was it the 37th? Thanks
Sorry I don’t know as it was in my workplace the book but I no longer work there.
It's not in the newer editions but this is the original one - it's beyond delicious.
The recipe is in no 40 but not book number 39. Itisa great recipe
My mum used to make this when we were kids and I loved it. I’ve looked in my new and old bero books but couldn’t find it so I just want to thank you so much for putting the recipe up I can now share with my young daughter. Thanks again xxx
I used to make this to take back to university in the 80's been looking for the recipe again for ages, thank you for posting
I wanted to replicate the flapjacks that are sold in our little village shop that have chopped apricots in.i used the above recipe, cutting sugar down to 3oz and adding 2oz chopped apricots. Very yummy..but a bit too crumbly. Think I need to up the butter and syrup a little ?
Totally addicted to these and now so are my grandkids!
